Capital One is seeking a Principal Data Scientist for the AI Foundations team to design scalable NLP and ML solutions across billions of customer records, enabling personalized experiences and a safer, simpler financial life.

You will partner with product, tech and design teams, use PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain and AWS, and own models from design through training to production for 80+ million customers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field plus 5 years of data analytics experience
• Master's degree in a quantitative field (or MBA with quantitative concentration) plus 3 years of data analytics experience
• PhD in a quantitative field

Responsabilidades

• Partner with cross-functional team to deliver AI-powered products that change how customers interact with their money
• Leverage a broad stack of technologies — PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, LangChain, VectorDBs, and more
• Be the NLP expert to harness the power of LLMs, adapt and fine-tune for customer-facing applications
• Build ML and NLP models through all phases of development, from design through training, evaluation, and production deployment
• Translate the complexity of your work into tangible business goals
