Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Data Scientist to join the AI Foundations Specialist Models Data Science Team. You will build scalable AI/ML solutions for Capital One's mobile app, partnering with product, tech and design to deliver features that personalize experiences and empower customer interactions with Eno.

You will work with a broad stack (PyTorch, AWS, Hugging Face, LangChain) to develop NLP models, fine-tune LLMs, and deploy production-ready systems handling billions of data records for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative field with analytics experience.
• Experience leveraging open source programming languages for large-scale data analysis.
• Experience with ML and NLP model development.
• Experience with relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, PMs to deliver AI-powered products.
• Utilize a broad tech stack to extract insights from large data volumes.
• Lead NLP/LLM efforts and fine-tuning for customer-facing apps.
• Develop models end-to-end and deploy in production at scale.
• Translate complex work into business outcomes.
