Capital One is seeking an AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy scalable AI systems that power customer experiences and internal processes. You will work on foundation model training, LLM inference, agents, vector databases, and model evaluation in a collaborative, high-impact setting.

You will partner with engineers, scientists, PMs, and infrastructure teams to optimize performance, cost, latency, and observability while ensuring governance and security standards are met.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field with several years of AI/ML development experience.
• At least 4 years of experience programming in Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
• Experience leading AI system deployments on cloud platforms and optimizing systems for scale.

Mansioni

• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products for associates and customers.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including model training and inference.
• Leverage Open Source and SaaS AI tech such as AWS, Hugging Face, VectorDBs, PyTorch.
• Define and maintain SLOs for AI reliability and collaborate on governance and observability.
