Capital One is seeking a Principal Data Scientist focused on AI Foundations and Specialist Models. You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver ML-powered solutions across billions of records, using Python, Conda, AWS, H2O, Spark and more.

You will build models through all development phases, translate results into business impact, and help drive the next generation of data-driven decisions at Capital One.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a quantitative degree with 3–5+ years of data analytics/ML experience.
• Experience with AWS, Python, SQL and ML model development.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Partner with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to deliver ML products.
• Build models across design, training, evaluation, validation, and deployment.
• Translate complex analyses into tangible business outcomes.
