Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Engineering Analyst/Tech Lead in Trust and Safety to architect and scale automated safety evaluation platforms for next-gen generative AI products. You will develop high-throughput autorater infrastructure powering offline testing and real-time launch decisions, balancing technical rigor with AI abuse mitigation.

Lead cross-functional teams across Health, Civics, and AI ecosystem domains to ensure safety guardrails, sub-100ms enforcement, and authoritative model

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, incl. identifying trends and drawing insights.
• 5 years in the anti-abuse domain with signal analysis and model development.
• Experience programming in SQL, Python, or Golang.

Responsibilities

• Establish metrics and benchmarks for Generative-AI issues; develop datasets and evals for teams.
• Drive project delivery, manage interdependent projects with moderate to high complexity.
• Improve tools via data analysis and stakeholder presentations; automate workflows.
• Design and scale production-grade LLM-as-a-judge autoraters for real-time decisions.
• Coordinate with Product, Search Core, and GDM teams on technical roadmaps and risk registers.
