Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Engineering Analyst/Tech Lead in Trust and Safety SAGE to advance automated safety evaluation and enforcement for next-generation generative AI products. You will scale LLM-as-a-judge autoraters, transition from bespoke scripts to high-throughput systems, and guide real-time launch decisions with sub-100ms responses.

You will work across Health, Civics, Elections, and AI Ecosystem domains with a focus on integrity, safety guardrails, and robust enforcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• 5 years of experience in the anti-abuse domain, with a focus on signal analysis, model development, data analysis, and cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Establish metrics, benchmark Generative-AI issues and quantify improvements; develop datasets and run evals for engineers to evaluate and improve Google Search, Labs and Assistant.
• Drive project delivery using technical judgment; manage interdependent projects of moderate to high complexity against tight timelines.
• Improve tools through data analysis, technical expertise, and presentations to stakeholders; optimize workflows via automation opportunities.
• Design, develop, and scale production-grade LLM-as-a-judge autoraters and automated evaluation systems for real-time launch decisions and regression testing.
• Partner with Product, Search Core, and GDM engineering teams to align on technical roadmaps, integrations and risk registers.
