Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, cross‑functional projects within Trust & Safety. You’ll plan requirements, manage risk and schedules, and communicate analyses to executives while weighing tradeoffs with engineers.

You will help design metrics, AI evaluation rubrics, and HOTL workflows to ensure policy enforcement at scale, collaborating with Analysts, Policy Specialists, and Engineers to reduce abuse across Google’s products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with SQL and metrics management with data sets.
  • Experience working with engineering teams on automation improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that Trust & Safety has the metrics and tools in place to proactively measure and detect quality-related issues throughout its expansive, AI-driven enforcement and labeling ecosystem.
  • Own and maintain the quality measurement and reporting strategy for a high-complexity portfolio of product areas.
  • Design and architect Human-over-Loop (HOTL) workflows and AI evaluation rubrics to ensure the consistent application of nuanced policies.
  • Engage in the transition from manual QA to AI-driven predictive insights, anomaly detection, and systemic logic verification.
  • Leverage AI co-pilots and tools to automate processes, write scripts, and prototype new safety and quality frameworks.
