Huntington National Bank seeks an AI Risk and Governance Manager to provide independent oversight of enterprise AI governance, ensuring alignment with risk appetite, policy, and regulatory expectations. You will collaborate with technology, data, compliance, privacy, and control stakeholders to challenge AI risk identification, assessment, and monitoring.

Reporting to the AI Risk Director, you will guide risk governance for AI agents, manage material AI changes, and support governance reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of AI, model and technology risk management experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide independent Second Line of Defense oversight and credible challenge of enterprise AI governance activities.
• Assess alignment of first-line AI governance with risk appetite, policy, and regulatory expectations.
• Support governance for AI agents and agentic AI systems including autonomy, tool access, and kill-switch protocols.
• Establish oversight for material AI system changes including model/data/tool updates and reassessment requirements.
• Identify and evaluate risks in generative and agentic AI use cases, including data leakage, bias, and security vulnerabilities.
• Provide oversight of AI use-case intake, classification, approval, and monitoring processes for enterprise exposure.
• Review AI risk assessments and monitoring outputs to ensure documentation and residual risk conclusions are complete.
• Partner with Model Risk Management, Technology Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and Internal Audit for consistent AI governance interpretation.
• Monitor emerging AI risks and translate developments into actionable oversight considerations.
• Support governance reporting to senior management and risk committees with concise insights.
