Job summary

Old National Bank seeks an operational leader for the AI Center of Excellence governance within the Transformation Office. You will oversee AI classification, capability assessment, inventory management, and governance committee support to align with risk and regulatory expectations.

Collaborating with Information Security, Data Governance, Model Risk Management, Third-Party Risk Management, and Compliance, you will drive cross-functional governance with rigor and ensure pre-deployment

Qualifications

• Experience in AI governance or risk governance programs.
• Ability to collaborate with risk and compliance teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Administer AI classification process across the Bank's tiered classification framework.
• Conduct capability assessments aligned to NIST AI 600-1 across GenAI capabilities.
• Evaluate inherent risk for Platform System Use Cases across data sensitivity, user audience, decision impact, consequence of error, and regulatory scope.
• Administer governance reviews for third-party vendor AI services, in-house AI solutions, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Prepare assessment scorecards, recommendations (YES/NO/CONDITIONAL YES) for AI Advisory Council.
• Track conditional approvals and ensure pre-deployment requirements are met before final authorization.
• Maintain the Enterprise AI Inventory as the authoritative record of AI capabilities.
