Summit Tech Partners LLC is seeking a seasoned professional to lead AI risk assessments, governance, and compliance initiatives. You will partner with legal, security, and technology teams to ensure AI deployments are safe and compliant.

The role focuses on evaluating AI tools, developing governance processes, and translating evolving regulations into actionable policies for enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years in technology risk, compliance, IT security or governance.
• 2+ years focused on AI, ML, or AI governance.
• Experience administering or supporting AI governance platforms.
• Knowledge of AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF, ISO 42001.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AI and generative AI risk assessments with mitigation recommendations.
• Evaluate AI tools/models against governance standards.
• Manage AI governance workflows within the governance platform.
• Review third‑party AI vendors and contracts for compliance and risk.
• Develop scalable governance processes, controls, and reporting.
• Monitor AI regulations and translate into actionable policies.
• Present findings to leaders and governance committees.
• Partner with legal, security, procurement, and tech teams for responsible AI adoption.
