Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking an AI Risk Senior Associate to help clients strengthen technology, AI, and cybersecurity risk capabilities across the lifecycle of AI/GenAI systems. You will assess controls, contribute to governance, and translate complex technical concepts into business risk language.

This role blends hands-on technical exposure with structured risk thinking, ideal for someone who can navigate model development concepts and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• 2-5 years delivering technology solutions with AI/ML exposure.
• Experience in risk, compliance, audit, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of AI/GenAI stacks and cloud platform controls.
• Ability to translate design into risk and control implications.

Responsibilities

• AI/ML risk assessments for AI/GenAI systems and lifecycle controls.
• Evaluate IT, cloud, and data environment controls (IAM, encryption).
• Support model governance, documentation, lineage tracking, and change management.
• Assist with GenAI, automation, and cloud-native risk assessments.
• Apply APIs, data pipelines, testing, and version control to risk reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and audit teams.
• Support workplans, gather requirements, and ensure quality client deliverables.
• Translate technical designs into clear risk considerations.
• Prepare documentation and stakeholder-ready reporting.
