CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Research Manager to lead AI R&D initiatives for our next generation of immersive RPGs. You will steer cross-functional projects, align teams across East Coast and Europe time zones, and drive scalable AI solutions for production pipelines.

You will foster high‑performing teams, unblock bottlenecks, and manage risks while partnering with external collaborators. This new role supports hybrid/in‑office or remote work in North America with a competitive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software project management experience, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Full cycle of an AI product, AI research or Game development. Ideally all.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams, preferably in an Agile environment, with a focus on team empowerment and self-organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• High emotional intelligence in interactions.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure and rally multiple teams to achieve a common goal.
• Highly motivated, self-driven and proactively resolves problems with minimal oversight.
• Intellectually curious and eager to learn beyond the role.
• Experience with Hansoft, Jira, Confluence, Office suite.
• Excellent analytical skills; comfortable modelling and analyzing data.

Responsibilities

• Drive new major AI initiatives within the AI R&D Team.
• Bridge East Coast and Europe time zones across AI R&D teams and projects.
• Align and motivate your team towards clearly defined goals and empower self-organization.
• Unblock bottlenecks and optimize delivery pipelines.
• Project manage AI initiatives, balance resources, scope and time constraints; identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Foster and maintain relations with key external partners.
• Advocate for improvements and challenge the status quo with bravery and innovation.
• Gather and respond to internal feedback to improve processes.
