Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group, responsible for the infrastructure and cloud-native platform layers powering EY’s AI runtime. This player-coach role requires hands-on design, build, and troubleshooting of core components, plus leading a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers across cloud, on-prem, and edge targets.

You will set technical direction, own the delivery roadmap, and ensure reliability and portability in regulated client contexts.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership with hands-on cloud-native platform engineering experience.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, multi-tenant, and high-availability at scale.
• Proven ability to own an AI/infra roadmap and operate under regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team with hiring, mentoring and standards.
• Hands-on design, build, and debugging of core platform components (cluster bring-up, multi-tenancy, GPU enablement).
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased capabilities and gates.
• Oversee cloud-native platform operations across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.
• Manage secure execution, inference serving and routing with modern AI tooling.
• Define SLOs, incident management, DR, and cross-environment replication.
• Partner on CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps to ensure reproducibility and drift control.
• Forecast capacity, budget, and vendor relationships for sustainable scaling.
