Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for the AI Platform Engineering group to drive the infrastructure and cloud-native platform powering EY’s AI runtime. You will set technical direction, lead a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, and personally design and troubleshoot the most critical parts of the platform.

You will stand up EY AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets, while ensuring reliability, portability, and phased delivery against a clear roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining hands-on.
• Experience owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap and architecture end to end.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team, setting priorities and removing blockers.
• Hands-on design, implementation, and debugging of the platform’s core components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap and phased capability releases.
• Oversee secure execution, inference, and routing for AI workloads across multiple environments.
• Define SLOs, incident management, and disaster recovery across environments.
• Manage GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor relationships.
