Job summary

EY is seeking a senior leader for the AI Platform Engineering group to own the infrastructure and cloud-native platform layers powering EY’s AI runtime. You will direct and mentor a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, while remaining a hands-on contributor designing and troubleshooting the most critical platform components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining an active hands-on contributor.
• Proven track record owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap and architecture end to end.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the AI Platform Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, setting priorities and removing blockers.
• Hands-on design, implementation, and debugging of the most critical platform components.
• Define and defend the infrastructure delivery roadmap across cloud and on-prem targets.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped targets.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing using Ray Serve, vLLM, Triton, and related tech.
• Define SLOs, incident management, DR, and cross-environment replication; collaborate on CI/CD and GitOps.
• Manage GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor relationships; justify spend to leadership.
• Communicate effectively with security, architecture, product, and delivery teams.
