Job summary

EY is seeking a senior engineering leader for its AI Platform Infrastructure. You will guide a team of AI Infrastructure and AI Systems Engineers, while personally contributing to the most critical platform components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure or large Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining hands-on.
• Experience owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap end-to-end.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and full cluster lifecycle at production scale.
• Experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and air-gapped deployment.
• Strong cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation knowledge.
• Hands-on with GPU infra and AI inference serving technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team, set priorities, hire, and coach engineers.
• Design, implement, and debug the highest-risk platform components as a senior IC.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap and phase-based rollout.
• Own the cloud-native foundation from OS to Kubernetes and scheduling.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Oversee secure execution, inference, and routing with advanced AI tech stacks.
• Define SLOs, incident mgmt, DR, and cross-environment replication for HA.
• Manage budget, vendor relationships, and cost attribution for capacity.
