Job summary

EY is seeking a senior leader for its AI Platform Engineering group. You will guide infrastructure and cloud-native platform layers powering EY’s AI runtime across cloud, on-prem, edge, client-managed, and air-gapped targets.

You will both lead and personally design, build, and troubleshoot the most critical components, while delivering a phased roadmap and ensuring reliability and portability in regulated client contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining an active hands-on contributor.
• Track record owning an infrastructure roadmap and end-to-end architecture.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions and full cluster lifecycle management at production scale.
• Deep experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and ideally air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling.
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team, setting priorities and objectives.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor on high-risk components of the platform.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased build plans and gates.
• Own the infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform across multiple environments.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped modes.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing with multiple AI models and gateways.
• Own operational excellence, incident management, and SLOs with disaster recovery and security hardening.
• Own GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor relationships, including budget management.
