Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for the AI Platform Engineering group to direct a team building the foundational AI runtime platform. You will personally design, implement, and troubleshoot critical components, from bare-metal to Kubernetes, across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air-gapped targets.

You will set phased roadmaps, own the delivery, and ensure reliability, portability, and security in regulated client contexts while shaping a high-velocity engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments, including hands-on depth.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining hands-on.
• Proven track record owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team: set priorities, allocate work, hire and mentor engineers.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor: design, implement and debug core platform components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap with phased capabilities and gates.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, client-managed, and air-gapped deployment modes.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing using Ray Serve, vLLM, Triton, and NVIDIA tools.
• Define SLOs, incident management, backups, disaster recovery, and CI/CD collaboration.
