Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure and large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams while remaining an active hands-on contributor.
• Experience owning a platform or infrastructure roadmap end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s).
• Deep experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and air-gapped deployment.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Hands-on experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
• Experience with disaster recovery, backup, and cross-environment replication.
• Proven incident leadership and SLO ownership.
• Experience managing infrastructure budgets, capacity plans, and vendor relationships.
• Ability to work effectively with security, architecture, product, and delivery teams and defend technical decisions to senior stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team: direct the day-to-day and long-term work, hire and coach engineers, set standards, grow leadership.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor: design, implement, and debug the hardest components.
• Own the infrastructure delivery roadmap: define phased build, entry/exit gates, and report progress to leadership.
• Own the infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform across compute, Kubernetes, and cluster fabric.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, client-managed, and air-gapped modes.
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing with Ray Serve, vLLM/NIM/Triton, and NVIDIA Dynamo.
• Own operational excellence, resilience, and platform delivery with SLOs, incident reviews, and backups.
• Own GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor selection; manage budget and vendor relations.
