Job summary

EY seeks a senior leader for AI Platform Engineering to direct and hands-on-build the foundational substrate powering EY’s AI-native platform. You will oversee cloud-native layers, Kubernetes, and multi-tenant design across cloud, on‑prem, edge, and air‑gapped targets.

You will set the delivery roadmap, build a high-performing team, and ensure reliability, portability, and security in regulated client environments. A rare chance to influence enterprise AI infrastructure at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 10+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments, including deep hands-on systems depth.
• 3+ years leading or directing engineering teams (technical leadership of multiple engineers).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s) and full cluster lifecycle management at production scale.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and AI inference serving (NVIDIA, vLLM, Triton).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD).
• Proven track record operating production infrastructure under compliance, security, or regulatory constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Platform Infrastructure Engineering team.
• Build hands-on as a senior individual contributor on core infra components.
• Own and deliver the infrastructure delivery roadmap.
• Own the infrastructure foundation and cloud-native platform across multiple environments.
• Stand up and operate EY Agentic AI environments (cloud, on-prem, edge, air-gapped).
• Own secure execution, inference, and routing for AI workloads.
• Own operational excellence, incident management, DR, and SRE practices.
• Manage GPU capacity, platform economics, and vendor relationships.
