Job summary

Juniper Square is hiring Applied AI Engineers to own end-to-end delivery, from problem scoping with stakeholders to deployment and operation of AI-native agents. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and observable systems, while shaping product direction and impact.

The role emphasizes hands-on full-stack engineering with strong systems design, enabling rapid delivery inside a modern AI-enabled platform and potential client-facing opportunities as the scope

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production software, with AI-native applications or agents.
• Strong systems design skills and ability to articulate architecture.
• Full-stack capability across data, services, UI, and infra.
• Hands-on cloud deployment with containers, IaC, CI/CD, monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to identify workflows where custom agents create leverage.
• Translate ambiguous problems into requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria.
• Carry solutions from prototype to deployment and rollout in production.
• Design agentic systems: retrieval, tool integration, orchestration, observability, cost controls.
• Design event-driven, scalable data/document processing systems.
• Collaborate with platform, R&D, and product teams on core systems.
• Balance speed with reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Own deployed solutions through adoption and post-launch support.
• Produce documentation, train users, and manage rollouts to drive adoption.
• Mentor and grow junior engineers toward leading projects.
