Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for Applied AI Acceleration to architect, build, and scale enterprise-grade AI and agentic automation systems across IT and Marketing ecosystems.

You will lead the Digital Workforce Ecosystem, embedding governance, observability, privacy, and ethical AI into production stacks while mentoring engineers and driving rapid AI exploration and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with distributed systems and AI/ML architecture
• Mentoring engineers and leading design reviews
• Experience with AI observability and governance

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and deploys scalable multi-agent systems and orchestration layers.
• Industrializes prototypes into production-grade AI solutions across channels and platforms.
• Implements model governance, observability, data protection, and ethical AI validation.
• Connects AI agents with enterprise data and MarTech stacks to reduce manual friction.
• Develops automated testing for AI outputs and complex multi-agent loops.
• Mentors junior engineers and leads architectural design reviews.
