Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Senior Associate, AI Solutions Architect to build and scale AI-powered tools for Marketing teams. You will prototype, code, and ship solutions, not just plan strategy. This role blends marketing tech with AI and offers mentorship from experienced builders.

You’ll work with Data Eng, Analytics, and Product to integrate AI into our stack and evaluate external AI platforms, while contributing to governance and best practices across Growth Marketing.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience at the intersection of marketing and technology, with hands-on experience building tools or automations.
• Technical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python (can read, modify, and debug code), along with familiarity with APIs, Postgres, ETLs, SQL, and data structures.
• Experience implementing AI solutions beyond basic chatbot usage: working with AI APIs, MCPs, prompt chains, and low-code/no-code platforms (Zapier, Make, Retool, etc.).
• Comfort working directly with Product and/or Engineering teams to develop solutions and collaborate on roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI-powered tools and automations, such as automated reporting, QA frameworks, and workflow optimizations.
• Develop MVPs and proof-of-concepts, then iterate based on user feedback within a defined workstream.
• Contribute to AI training materials, prompt and template libraries, and workshops that help drive AI adoption across marketing teams.
• Partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, and Product teams to integrate AI solutions into our existing marketing technology stack.
• Evaluate third-party AI platforms and APIs to identify options that fit our marketing technology stack.
• Track and report on the impact of the AI solutions you build, including efficiency gains and quality improvements.
• Help identify and automate time-consuming marketing processes, working across both the AdTech (Performance Media) and Marketing Platforms (Retention) pods.
• Support the AI Center of Excellence by contributing to frameworks, governance, and best practices for AI adoption across Growth Marketing.
