Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, AI, or advanced analytics.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and strong experience with ML libraries and frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with large-scale cloud data platforms such as Google BigQuery.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG, context management, and model selection.
• Experience designing agentic AI systems and multi-step AI workflows with tool calling, reasoning, and orchestration.
• Knowledge of API-based AI architectures and integration patterns with external tools and systems.
• Knowledge of model versioning, observability, experimentation, monitoring, and evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end AI and data science solutions, including predictive models and generative AI applications.
• Identify opportunities to apply ML, LLMs, optimization, business rules, and APIs across customer needs.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and business teams to translate problems into scalable AI capabilities.
• Guide solutions from experimentation to production deployment with rigorous evaluation and monitoring.
• Mentor data scientists, develop reusable AI capabilities, and help attract talent.
