Crunchyroll in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Senior AI Platform & Tools Engineer to build scalable AI evaluation and governance platforms, automate tool administration, and drive adoption of enterprise AI tools across the organization.

You will own end-to-end features on a small team, collaborating with IT and Security to ensure secure, scalable AI infrastructure and governance across the product stack.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software or platform engineering, including building tools or services used by other engineers.
• Experience administering, configuring, or supporting enterprise SaaS tools, AI platforms, or internal productivity platforms in a production environment.
• Strong software engineering skills (Python, Go/TypeScript or similar) with production-grade tooling.
• Knowledge of LLM APIs, RAG, agent frameworks, evaluation methodologies, and inference basics.

Responsibilities

• Build the AI evaluation platform: automated tooling to run structured evals at scale.
• Instrument usage and cost telemetry across the approved AI stack.
• Automate AI governance: intake triage, scoring pipelines, and policy-as-code.
• Develop golden-path templates, reference architectures, and reusable components.
• Administer and configure enterprise AI tools (ChatGPT Enterprise, Glean, Claude, Gemini).
• Track feature releases and drive adoption of new AI tools.
