Job summary

Paramount is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build enterprise-scale AI platforms and internal developer tools for Global Quality Engineering — architecting RAG systems and intelligent automation that evaluate failures, classify flakiness, and recommend fixes across brands.

You will lead design of internal tooling, build full-stack systems including React-based UIs, and mentor engineers while aligning with executive AI strategy and roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering with backend focus and architecture
• Experience with production AI systems including LLMs and RAG pipelines
• Full-stack capabilities with React or similar
• Strong experience with cloud, distributed systems, and containers
• Ability to set technical strategy and influence across teams

Responsibilities

• Architect large-scale AI platforms, RAG systems, and intelligent automation services supporting Global Quality Engineering
• Lead design of internal developer tools, micro-platforms, and APIs that integrate AI into engineering workflows
• Build full-stack systems including React-based UIs for internal tooling
• Create systems that auto-evaluate failures, classify flakiness, detect patterns, and recommend fixes
• Partner with the QE executive team on long-term AI strategy and roadmap
• Drive cross-functional alignment with Platform and Data Engineering; mentor engineers
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tech, preferring Vertex AI and Gemini
