Job summary

Realtor.com is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to architect and improve the internal AI tooling foundation across the company. You will own the operational health, access governance, and license hygiene of tools like Portkey, Claude, Gemini, Devin, and Glean.

You will design core software platforms, standardize AI protocols, and lead cross-functional partnerships to ensure safe, scalable AI adoption in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software/Platform/Systems Administration experience.
• Experience configuring or building AI tooling and platforms.
• Strong understanding of SSO, RBAC, least privilege and governance.
• Proficiency in modern backend languages (Python, Go, TypeScript) and observability practices.
• Engineering philosophy rooted in PDLC, change management, and documentation.
• Ability to translate constraints into practical guidance for technical and non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core software platform, APIs, and SDKs for agentic use cases.
• Manage operational lifecycles for Portkey, Claude, Gemini, Devin, and Glean.
• Implement and extend AI protocols and connectors (MCP, A2A, ARD).
• Develop LLM gateway and access layer for centralized model access and guardrails.
• Enforce governance via code: SSO, RBAC, least privilege, and connector approvals.
• Lead platform maintenance, runbooks, and cross-team support workflows.
• Partner with Security, IT, Legal and business teams to resolve blockers.
• Build and drive a greenfield AI platform with standards and guardrails.
• Strengthen AWS infrastructure for AI systems using Bedrock and related services.
• Lead architectural reviews to socialize standards and reduce fragmentation.
• Collaborate across departments to align requirements and reduce Shadow AI.
