Job summary

Crunchyroll is seeking a Senior AI Solutions Engineer to embed with business teams and deliver production-grade agentic AI systems. You will plan, implement, and scale AI solutions across content, marketing, and product functions, balancing automation with reliable, guardrailed systems.

You will own end-to-end delivery from problem framing to orchestration and deployment, while aligning with central standards, tooling, and observability practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with production AI/agentic solutions.
• Experience designing, building, and shipping reliable agentic systems.

Responsibilities

• Embed with business functions to map workflows end-to-end.
• Determine AI applicability and select the right approach (agentic, RAG, ML, automation).
• Identify agent-shaped workflows and design appropriate solutions.
• Translate problems into architecture diagrams, data flow maps and integration points.
• Design agentic systems with goals, tools, and memory; plan multi-agent orchestration.
• Ensure reliability with failure handling, human-in-the-loop controls, guardrails and costs.
• Build observability: tracing, logging, monitoring for production performance.
• Manage stakeholders, avoid scope creep, and ensure post-handoff sustainability.
