Job summary

Roblox in San Mateo, CA is seeking an experienced software engineer to help build the agentic AI system powering creation for millions of Roblox creators. You will work across cloud orchestration, LLM integration, model routing, tool execution, and the creator-facing client to enable multi-step workflows from planning to code generation and testing.

You will lead design and implementation across a range of services, ship high-quality code, and help grow the team by mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping high-complexity software at scale.
• Experience architecting and leading implementations across software products.
• Experience building AI infrastructure including model serving and orchestration.
• Familiarity with agentic systems and multi-step execution loops.
• Understanding of tools, skills, evaluation frameworks for AI systems.
• Expertise in component-based libraries and high-quality UX.
• Proficiency in C++, C#, Java.
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL at scale.

Responsibilities

• Understand community needs from artists to scripters and designers.
• Own design, build, test, deploy services within Roblox ecosystem.
• Tackle diverse technical challenges in complex systems.
• Raise technical bar for code quality and architecture.
