Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with clients in regulated environments. You will own delivery from shaping through deployment, balancing functionality, safety, and cost while ensuring auditable, trusted production solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding (LangGraph, Python) and collaboration with platform, security, and governance partners to drive real business impact.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise/regulatory environments.
• Hands-on experience building distributed systems and APIs.
• Experience with modern AI stacks and agentic workflows.
• Proven track record delivering in real-world conditions.
• Ability to collaborate with governance, security, and architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows, agentic systems, and orchestration using platform capabilities.
• Write and review production-quality code (e.g., LangGraph, Python) in enterprise standards.
• Make real-time tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost, and timeline and explain decisions.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints with control authorities.
• Capture field learnings and failure modes to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
