Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with our clients in highly regulated environments. You will own delivery from shaping through deployment, serving as the technical authority for forward-deployed engagements.

This role blends hands-on engineering with solution shaping, collaborating with platform, architecture, security, and governance partners to ensure deployable, auditable, and trusted production

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on with distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code under compliance, performance, reliability constraints.
• Ability to work with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and integrations with approved templates.
• Write/Review production-quality code (LangGraph, Python, orchestration layers).
• Make real-time tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost, timeline.
• Ensure security, AI integrity, and FinOps compliance for safe-to-ship.
• Capture field learnings and contribute to platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration/platform/architecture teams to reduce rework.
