Job summary

Adobe Design is seeking an AI-native, product-minded design leader to guide Firefly's design and growth in a fast-paced 0‑to‑1 environment, shaping AI-powered creativity for creatives.

You will own experience outcomes, lead builders, mentor talent, and align cross-functional teams across product, engineering, data science, and research to ship impactful user experiences. This role demands executive presence and strategic thinking within a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design teams at the Senior Director level or above.
• Driven by product strategy, activation, adoption, engagement, and retention.
• Hands-on AI-native product experience with generative AI.
• Ability to influence multiple stakeholders and align teams.
• Skilled in navigating matrixed organizations.
• Strong visual and interaction design sensibility and user-centered design.
• Excellent written, oral, and storytelling skills.
• Calm, focused leadership during ambiguity and change.

Responsibilities

• Own Product Experience Outcomes: define and drive design strategy for Firefly linked to MAU growth, retention, and differentiation with measurable goals.
• Elevate Craft and Velocity: lead regular design reviews, reduce UI debt, increase execution speed, and guide non-designer builders to cohesive experiences.
• Drive Cross-Functional Alignment Through Influence: partner with PMs, Eng, Data Science, and Research; communicate decisions and cascade them widely.
• Build and Develop World-Class Talent: hire, grow, and retain designers; foster growth, purpose, and inclusion.
• Maintain Continuous Competitive Fluency: stay aware of market dynamics and AI-enabled design/engineering tools to accelerate output.
