EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with clients in regulated environments. You will own end-to-end delivery from problem framing to deployment, balancing performance, safety, and cost while ensuring compliance and trust in production.

This role emphasizes hands-on coding (LangGraph, Python) and direct client collaboration, with a hybrid work model and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated settings.
• Customer-facing or consulting engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience building distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with modern AI application stacks (LLM-backed, agentic workflows).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code that meets compliance, performance, and reliability needs.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, architecture, security and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with client teams to frame problems under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and orchestration.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines; explain tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Ensure security, AI integrity, and FinOps compliance for safe-to-ship production.
• Capture learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
