Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with regulated clients. You will own end-to-end delivery and serve as the technical authority for forward-deployed engagements.

Collaborate with platform, architecture, security, and governance teams; balance tradeoffs under regulatory constraints; write production-quality code. EY offers a hybrid model and a comprehensive rewards package across the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive apps.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration frameworks).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code operating under compliance, performance and reliability constraints.
• Ability to work with engineering, architecture, security, and governance teams.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement and manage AI-enabled workflows and integrations with approved platform capabilities.
• Write and review production-quality code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Make real-time delivery tradeoffs balancing functionality, safety, cost, and timeline.
• Collaborate with platform and architecture teams to reduce rework and enable repeatable delivery.
• Capture field learnings and provide feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Maintain alignment with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints.
