Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with our strategic clients in highly regulated environments.

You will own end-to-end delivery, shape solutions, and write production-grade code while collaborating with platform, architecture, security, and governance partners. Strong client-facing and regulatory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software in enterprise or regulated contexts.
• Experience working with clients or business stakeholders while staying technical.
• Hands-on deployment of distributed systems, APIs, or data-heavy apps.
• Practical use of AI stacks (LLMs, agentic workflows, orchestration).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real conditions.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under regulatory constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and integrations using approved platforms.
• Write and review production-grade code aligned with enterprise standards.
• Balance functionality, safety, cost, and timelines, explaining tradeoffs to stakeholders.
• Ensure security, AI integrity, and FinOps considerations with control authorities.
• Capture field learnings and feedback to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
