Job summary

EY is seeking senior engineers for the Advanced Forward Engineering team to design, build, and deliver AI-native systems embedded with regulated client environments. You will own end-to-end delivery and be the primary technical authority for forward-deployed engagements.

Role emphasizes hands-on engineering, collaboration with platform and governance partners, and producing auditable, production-ready solutions in complex settings.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering complex software systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying distributed systems, APIs, integrations, or data-intensive applications.
• Practical experience with modern AI stacks (LLM-backed systems, agentic workflows).
• Proven track record owning delivery in real-world conditions.
• Production-grade code that operates under compliance, performance, and reliability constraints.

Responsibilities

• Embed with client teams to frame problems and define delivery paths under constraints.
• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes from shaping to deployment and sustainment.
• Implement AI-enabled workflows and integrations using approved platform features.
• Write and review production-quality code (LangGraph, Python, orchestration layers).
• Make real-time tradeoffs balancing function, safety, cost, and timelines.
• Ensure solutions comply with security, AI integrity, and FinOps constraints.
• Capture field learnings to improve platform evolution.
• Collaborate with integration, platform, and architecture teams to reduce rework.
