Job summary

CSAA IG is hiring a Software Engineer III for AI/ML Platform Operations with a remote-friendly setup across the United States. You will lead reliability, governance, and operational readiness for enterprise AI workloads, collaborating with Data, Architecture, Security, and Product teams to drive scalable AI capabilities.

The role emphasizes MLOps, automation, observability, and CI/CD, with opportunities to shape platform strategy and engineering best practices in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, platform engineering, cloud operations, MLOps, DevOps, or related technical disciplines.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience supporting production cloud-based applications and services in AWS environments.
• Strong experience with software engineering and automation using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD, build, integration, and deployment tools (Jenkins, Maven, GitHub Actions).
• Experience with cloud-native services and observability/monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and technical leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence, reliability, and support for AI/ML platforms.
• Ensure stability, scalability, observability, governance, and operational readiness of AI/ML solutions.
• Design automation, monitoring, and tooling to improve platform reliability and efficiency.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex production issues involving AI platforms and cloud infra.
• Mentor engineers and influence platform strategy and adoption.
