Lyra Health is seeking a Senior AI/ML Backend Engineer to build backend services for our AI/ML product features and own cross-functional projects. You will create scalable infrastructure, deploy and manage applications in production, and contribute daily through hands-on coding.

The role requires 4+ years delivering production-grade software, strong Python skills (FastAPI), and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern LLM tooling. A collaborative, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience delivering production ready products.
• Strong Python programming skills with practical experience in backend services.
• Experience with modern async Python web frameworks (e.g., FastAPI) and data streaming (WebSockets, SSE).

Responsibilities

• Build backend services for ML/AI features and ensure scalable, reliable infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage applications in production.
• Collaborate across therapists, data scientists, engineers and product managers to deliver impactful AI capabilities.
