Job summary

Lyra Health, Inc. is seeking a Senior AI/ML Platform Engineer to build the machine learning and generative AI platforms used across the company.

You will own backend infrastructure, scale systems, and deploy services that expose AI products. The role requires 4+ years delivering production-ready projects, strong Python skills with FastAPI, Docker and Kubernetes experience, plus familiarity with LangChain, vector databases, and RAG-based solutions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years delivering production-grade ML/AI products.
• Proficient in Python with strong code quality.
• Experience with FastAPI and data streaming (WebSockets / SSE).
• Experience with Docker and deploying to Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational databases and low-latency data stores.
• Experience building RAG-based AI solutions and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Build ML and AI platforms used company-wide.
• Create backend infra for scalable, resilient solutions.
• Develop services exposing ML/AI products.
• Deploy and manage applications in production.
