Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain robust software with emphasis on backend and ML systems. You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with Product, Design and partner teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions in an agile setting.

Role requires 5–6 years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong GenAI/ML capabilities. Location-based work is expected several days per week, contributing to the bank's technology transformation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading development of modern web applications.
• Strong backend + ML systems experience, including GenAI exposure.
• ML platform engineering experience and AI/ML understanding required.
• Leadership skills including mentoring and coaching engineers.

Responsibilities
