Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel for AI & Legal Technology to guide legal strategy around AI, product development and regulatory compliance. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Marketing and Strategy teams to draft and negotiate terms with vendors and customers while shaping company policy.

A strong background in AI law and tech transactions is essential. The role requires JD from an accredited law school, US bar admission, and extensive experience in technology transactions,

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Intelligence, flexibility, creativity, diligence, responsiveness, and strong communications skills.
• Solid proficiency with MS Office, Salesforce, and Contract Management Software.
• Deep knowledge of AI regulatory landscape (US/EU) and related frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal representative for enterprise AI, product development, marketing and legal technology.
• Address legal and compliance questions across products, operations, and vendor services.
• Provide strategic legal advice to internal stakeholders and timely responses; identify issues and propose solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Partner and Strategy teams.
• Suggest process improvements for efficiency, including beta testing approaches and contract language.
• Leverage AI tools and legal technology platforms to improve workflow and outcomes.
• Experience with AI tools, Microsoft 365, Salesforce and Ironclad.
