Job summary

Relativity seeks a Senior Counsel, AI & Legal Technology to advise on AI, product development, and legal tech. You will be a senior, visible voice shaping strategy and negotiating terms with vendors and partners.

You will collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Partner, and Strategy teams to manage risk and drive compliant innovation. A JD and US bar admission are required, with strong AI/regulatory and tech-transaction expertise.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in good standing.
Significant experience in AI, data, and technology law.
Experience with software development, licensing, and API/SaaS terms.
Knowledge of FTC and state marketing laws is preferred.
Ability to explain complex legal concepts to non-lawyers clearly.

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead legal advisor for enterprise AI, product development, marketing and legal technology.
Provide strategic legal advice on commercial, operational and strategic issues.
Partner with product, marketing, customer success, and strategy teams.
Develop scalable processes and improve contract language and beta testing approaches.
Advise on regulatory risk and AI vendor relationships.
