Job summary

Relativity is seeking a Senior Counsel for AI & Legal Technology to serve as a senior legal advisor on AI, product development, and legal tech matters. You will report to the General Counsel and shape policy, risk management, and partner negotiations across the business.

The role blends legal strategy with product insight, requiring deep knowledge of AI law, licensing, and compliance, while guiding cross-functional teams to accelerate growth and responsible innovation.

Qualifications

Six (6) or more years of relevant experience in-house and/or at a law firm supporting technology initiatives (AI, data, technology).
JD degree from an accredited law school and license to practice in the United States.
Strong understanding of technology, including AI, cloud services, software licensing models, information security, privacy, and regulatory considerations.
Experience supporting AI-enabled products and legal technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

Serve as the lead legal representative for enterprise AI, product development, marketing and legal technology.
Provide creative, strategic legal advice on commercial, operational and strategic issues and respond timely to stakeholders.
Review and advise on AI-specific terms in customer and vendor agreements and customer-facing materials.
Advise on product development, feature launches, and go-to-market strategies with defensible approaches.
Engage with customers and work with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Partner, and Strategy teams.
