Job summary

Relativity seeks a Senior Counsel, AI & Legal Technology to serve as a senior legal advisor on AI, product development, and legal technology. You will report to the General Counsel and work across Product, Marketing, and Engineering to enable growth while ensuring regulatory and compliance alignment.

You will monitor AI law developments, draft internal policies, and negotiate with vendors and partners. This role blends strategy with hands-on drafting in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in good standing.
• Six or more years of relevant in-house or law firm experience in technology initiatives, AI and regulatory issues.
• Deep knowledge of AI regulatory landscape and related US/international frameworks.
• Experience with software development, API terms, SaaS agreements, and platform policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal advisor for enterprise AI, product development, marketing and legal technology.
• Provide strategic legal advice on commercial, operational and regulatory issues.
• Draft and negotiate agreements with vendors, partners and customers; review AI-related terms.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Strategy teams to enable growth while managing risk.
• Improve processes and contract language to align with business and product requirements.
