Job summary

Kahana Feld LLP seeks an Innovation & Emerging Technologies Manager to lead AI, analytics, and emerging tech initiatives. You will manage a team, translate business needs into practical solutions, and ensure secure, well-supported technology adoption across the firm.

You will partner with COOs, CIOs, and practice groups to deliver actionable insights, develop use cases, and train users on AI tools and data governance practices essential to client confidentiality and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, data analytics, business, instructional design, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in technology innovation, AI enablement, legal technology, data analytics, business intelligence, or related work, with demonstrated success leading people or project teams at a law or professional service firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI adoption roadmap with stakeholders; balance reporting with innovation initiatives.
• Mentor, develop, and prioritize work for the team; manage delivery schedules.
• Serve as primary SME for approved AI/tools; guide team delivery across divisions.
• Translate workflows into clear use cases; evaluate products for fit, usability, and security.
• Design AI prompts, workflows, and low/no-code automations for approved use cases.
• Develop role-based training and adoption programs aligned with firm priorities.
