Job summary

KAHANA & FELD LLP seeks a Senior Manager of Innovation & Emerging Technologies to lead AI adoption, emerging tech initiatives, and data analytics across the firm. You will mentor a team, translate legal needs into practical tech solutions, and guide tool evaluation, testing, and deployment with security and governance in mind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, data analytics, business, instructional design, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or a leading consulting firm, with substantial hands‑on experience leading the evaluation, implementation, and adoption of AI solutions, preferred.
• Experience leading and developing a team, including setting priorities, delegating work, managing competing demands, establishing quality expectations, and remaining actively involved in implementation and delivery.
• Practical experience with generative AI, large language models, Microsoft 365 tools, and professional services technology, with the ability to become a power user of new platforms quickly.
• Experience delivering reports, dashboards, or analytical solutions and a working knowledge of data preparation, data quality, business intelligence, and visualization sufficient to guide and review analysts’ work.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI adoption roadmap with stakeholders across the firm.
• mentor and develop team members with clear goals and delivery schedules.
• Serve as primary SME for approved AI tools and guide delivery.
• Translate workflows into clear use cases and requirements.
• Evaluate products for fit, usability, cost, and security with stakeholders.
• Design AI prompts, libraries, and low/no-code workflows for use cases.
• Develop role-based training and adoption programs for tools.
• Promote tools and good practices through clear communications.
• Provide day-to-day guidance, troubleshoot usage issues, and coordinate with vendors.
