Job summary

Xcede is seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer to join a small, senior engineering team building an AI infrastructure runtime. You will be embedded with enterprise teams, own deployments end-to-end, and translate field learnings into product improvements.

This hands-on role combines software engineering, AI infrastructure, and customer-facing delivery, with direct customer exposure and influence on product direction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software engineering with customer-facing exposure.
• Proficient in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience deploying in secure/on-prem environments.
• Familiarity with AI/ML infra, observability, or enterprise security.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise deployments from initial integration through production.
• Build integrations and adapters across agent frameworks, model providers, and observability stacks.
• Configure policies, evaluators, and dashboards for customer environments.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues across AI and enterprise infrastructure.
• Turn customer requirements and field learnings into product improvements.
• Work closely with the founders, Product, and Engineering to influence the roadmap.
• Contribute directly to production code.
