Job summary

Xcede, a NYC-based AI-driven technology firm, is seeking a strong Forward Deployed Engineer to join on a full-time basis. You will work directly with customer teams to design real-time voice AI applications on our platform, bridging engineering, architecture, and customer implementation.

In this role you will design scalable architectures, build prototype integrations, and help clients navigate SDKs, APIs, and deployment strategies, while collaborating with Product and Engineering to improve

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proficient in Go, Python, Node, Rust, or C++.
• Comfortable working with APIs, SDKs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work directly (remotely or on-site when necessary) with customer engineering teams to design and implement real-time applications built on the platform
• Design scalable architectures for voice AI, real-time media, and developer platform use cases
• Build prototype integrations, reference implementations, and sample applications to accelerate customer development
• Help customers navigate SDKs, APIs, infrastructure, and deployment strategies for production systems
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve developer experience, documentation, and tooling
