Job summary

Sprout is seeking a seasoned hardware engineer to bridge Sales and technical execution in our AI systems workflow. You’ll diagnose GPU and server issues, configure InfiniBand/Ethernet fabric, and verify system builds for customer orders, working closely with Sales to move deals forward.

You will combine hands-on hardware troubleshooting with documenting repeatable answers and maintaining our internal config catalog, ensuring accurate, sellable configurations and rapid responses to customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in data center hardware engineering or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with NVIDIA DGX/HGX platforms and AI systems.
• Familiarity with InfiniBand fabrics and enterprise server ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Sales and customers, diagnosing GPU/system issues.
• Troubleshoot faults across GPU, baseboard, NVLink/NVSwitch, PSU, cooling, and fabric.
• Configure and validate InfiniBand and Ethernet fabric and ensure compatibility.
