Premera Blue Cross seeks an AI Engineer IV to lead AI/ML solutioning from conception to production. You will guide intricate challenges, prototype AI products, and mentor engineers while advancing scalable AI infrastructure.

The role emphasizes ethical AI, explainability, and collaboration with senior leadership to set AI strategies, governance, and data quality standards for enterprise systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, or 2+ years in a related IT/analytics role.
• Minimum 5 years of industry AI/ML experience in developing, deploying, and maintaining AI/ML systems.
• 6+ years experience in deep learning models: CNNs, transformers, GANs, LSTMs, etc.
• Experience in productionizing AI models and building scalable data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and prototyping of AI/ML solutions from conception to production.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices in AI/ML across the team.
• Architect cloud-based AI systems and robust data pipelines for large-scale models.
